Camp Maplehurst grounds consist of 400 acres of rolling hills, which completely encircle Lake Maplehurst, our very own 80 acre spring-fed private lake, and borders Torch Lake. Torch Lake has been singled out as one of the world's most beautiful lakes by National Geographic Magazine.

All campers live in spacious cabins with full size, built in wooden bunk beds and electricity. Bathroom facilities adjoin the boys cabins; all other cabins have bathrooms inside. Each bathroom has toilets, showers with hot and cold running water, and multiple sinks. Each cabin sleeps between 10 and 12 people.

Camp Maplehurst has three hard tennis courts, two basketball courts, two softball fields, a soccer field, two volleyball courts, an arts and crafts building with darkroom, riding rings, golf driving range, riflery and archery ranges, and a private beach. On our very own private lake known as Lake Maplehurst we offer, swimming, water-skiing, wakeboarding, kayaking, fishing, canoeing, windsurfing, kneeboarding & sailing.

Three balanced meals are served daily, plus afternoon and evening snacks. Our main lodge has three dining rooms as well as a large outdoor picnic area. A complete kitchen and maintenance staff lives on the camp grounds.

The Camp Maplehurst Infirmary is supervised by a full time resident health director.

Camp Maplehurst is located about 25 miles north of Traverse City and 25 miles south of Charlevoix in northwest Michigan. Maplehurst overlooks a countryside of breathtaking beauty. The property includes two lakes, open fields, wooded hiking areas, and cherry orchards. Seven lakes are visible from our main lodge, including our private spring-fed 80 acre private lake, Lake Maplehurst. Both Torch Lake and Lake Maplehurst are used for our waterfront activities.
