Laurence and Brenda Cohn have been associated with Camp Maplehurst for over a combined 80 years. Their commitment to children, Camp Maplehurst, and the outdoors is evident. Laurence holds a Ph.D. in psychology and education. He has taught psychology at the University of Michigan since 1972. Brenda holds a masters degree in counseling psychology from the University of Michigan and is a licensed professional counselor (LPC).  She has participated in a small private practice specializing in grief counseling.  Together they are active parents and they are continually involved in the operation and administration of Camp Maplehurst.
