Camp Maplehurst is approximately 4 hours from Detroit and 6 hours from Chicago:
From Detroit Area:
Go north on I-75 to Grayling. At Grayling, exit left onto M-72 West. Follow M-72 through Kalkaska to Williamsburg. At Williamsburg, turn right onto Elk Lake Road and follow it to US-31. Turn right (north) on US-31 and follow it through Elk Rapids. From the stop light, count 3.2 miles to Winters Rd. Turn right, count 2.3 miles and Maplehurst will be on your right.

From Chicago Area:
Take I-94 to I-196. In Grand Rapids, get on US-131 North and follow it to Kalkaska. In Kalkaska, turn left onto M-72 West and follow it to Williamsburg. At Williamsburg, turn right onto Elk Lake Road and follow it to US-31. Turn right (north) on US-31 and follow it through Elk Rapids. From the stop light, count 3.2 miles to Winters Rd. Turn right, count 2.3 miles and Camp Maplehurst will be on your right. |
